MS4 Audit features a series of reporting options that reveal an application's Year 2000 readiness.

During the reporting verification phase, MS4 Audit produces a number of reports that are used as Tables and Appendices with a predefined PC-based outline assessment report. The individual reporting options can be run in any sequence. All appendices are output as hard copy and to PC download files that are cleared before each report run.

As each reporting option runs, MS4 Audit copies the spool files back to a physical file in MSJV1F, replacing existing records. An IT manager can run queries on these physical files to print out reports in another location.

MS4 Audit runs a multitude of key reports. A cross-section of these reports follows.

  Reviews application where the technical approach to the Y2K problem is physical file expansion with or without windowing.  

Each of these major reports can be used to ensure a comprehensive Year 2000 audit of the existing AS/400 database.
